VCs For Repro is a coalition of venture capital firms that frames abortion as an economic and innovation imperative.

The coalition began in early 2022 with a thesis that the venture capital community, with enormous power to shape society, and laser focused on innovation and the future, has an obligation to lead on reproductive rights. We have been engaging VCs and the broader investment community in a variety of formal and informal gatherings and conversations, to process how the Dobbs decision and current cultural climate will impact their businesses, their portfolio businesses, the economy, and their lives. Out of these conversations, the VCs For Repro Coalition was formed, and launched publicly on Tuesday November 3rd 2022 with an exclusive in TechCrunch.

In May 2023, the VCs For Repro Coalition was honored as a Fast CompanyWorld Changing Idea” in both the Finance and Corporate Social Responsibility categories.

VCs For Repro is an independent and currently unfunded initiative made possible by the below volunteer leaders and organizers.
